My name is Janet Heimlich and I've been a writer for more than 20 years. I've written for corporations, nonprofits, news organizations, and individuals. I've reported for National Public Radio and wrote a nonfiction book that Anne Rice called "well researched and well written." I've also written countless video scripts. I'd like to help you use the power of language to inspire your readers and users.
I believe the writer in me emerged in sixth grade when my homeroom teacher Mrs. Howard suggested I enter a statewide short story writing contest. I won. And it was the last piece of fiction I ever wrote. See, I'm really cut out for writing about real life. For eight years, I reported for National Public Radio. In 2011, I wrote a nonfiction book that examined the issue of religious child maltreatment. I've written articles for such magazines as TexasMonthly and the Texas Observer. I've organized and written content for websites, and I've blogged and blogged and blogged.
I'd love to hear from you! Send me an email.
